ABOUT US

Theatre GMS has been an integral part of the Cecil E. Gray Middle School community for the past ten years. Throughout that time, we have performed in over twenty different shows, competed in Districts and State Thespian competitions, and enriched the lives of thousands of students. We are looking forward to changing things around this year and rehearsing for our shows in class, which will allow for us to have a fuller season of shows. 

 

Serious students are invited to represent our school by competing at the Junior Thespian Competition. We attend Districts every November and State Competition every January. We are proud to have had several Critics Choices, Best in Shows, and Honorable Mentions at the District and State levels.

The thing we are most proud of here at Theatre GMS, is the incredible family we have formed through the years. Many students stay involved throughout their three years of Middle School, and form amazing bonds with their fellow Thespians. We work hard, play hard, and have an absolute blast! We are ALWAYS happy to welcome new students. It is NEVER too late to fall in love with theatre!
